Whether you have a home office, a satellite/virtual office, or actual executive office space; there are times where a separate meeting space is needed to accomodate you and your clients.
The home office does not always offer the optimal conditions under which you can conduct your individual business meetings. As convenient as it is to save on expenses by having a home office, you may still find a need for larger, alternate space. Maybe it’s a privacy or security issue. This could also be the reason you’ve elected to set up a satellite/virtual office. This option presents itself with great area expansion options for one’s business, but it is just that, “virtual”. No walls, no rooms, no extras. Finally, the Executive Office space. Sure you have professional office in a nice building in a great location, but it may be just a bit small to accomodate more than one or two more people, and that’s where the Conference Center comes in for consideration.
The Conference Center typically offers other professional services, as well. There are usually various size rooms (many with phones), some offer the option of using their wi-fi connection, along with copy and fax machines made available for your use. There may also be a receptionist at the facility that will meet and greet you and your guests which adds a personal, professional touch.
Here’s an example of someone that would utilize this type of service…
The attorney who is detached from a large firm who hung his/her shingle at an Executive Office building and is leasing space in order to make a name for themselves via private practice. He/she has expenses and overhead just like anyone else, so they opted for the smaller office space. They have depositons, meetings and/or mitigations and do not want to uncomfortably force their clients or their attorneys into the small office area, as elegant and professional as it may be. Now the conference room becomes the sensible way to go. Everyone has enough elbow room to spread out paperwork. The option to have a conference call with other parties, such as a magistrates or judges, is viable and the attorney has improved on his/her level of professionalism.
More and more Conference Centers are available daily and offer reasonable hourly rates. Some will work out a full-day rate, which can save more. Many have refreshements, such as coffee, tea, or water for you as well as your clients.
See what possibilities lie ahead for you and your business!
